About Us

In 2018, Research Management Unit (UPP) was established under Quality Management and Alumni Division (BPKA). In October 2019, the organizational structure of UTMSPACE was change, Research Management Unit (UPP) became one unit under SPACE.

A fund called Potential Development Fund (PDF) was set up in order to encourage UTMSPACE staff, both academic and non-academic to start engaging in research activities. The fund also aims to provide early exposure to staff who would like to conduct research on topics related to six (6) key focus areas of UTMSPACE as listed below:

1. Lifelong Learning.
2. Technology and Innovation for Education.
3. Academic Leadership.
4. Transnational Education.
5. Research witihin Organization.
6. Industrial Revolution 4.0
