17 November 2024, The Dean’s Award and SPACE Academic Prize Ceremony was held in conjunction with the 68th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) at Kencanapuri Hall, Pulai Springs Resort, Johor. This esteemed event honors graduates’ academic achievements, including those from the Foundation Program and Bachelor’s Program (Full-Time and Part-Time Studies).
The ceremony recognized 141 graduates, comprising 29 from the Foundation Program, six from the Full-Time Bachelor’s Program, and 100 from the Part-Time Bachelor’s Program. Additionally, 13 students from the School of Professional Education and Continuing Education (SPACE) were awarded for their exceptional accomplishments in extracurricular activities at both national and international levels. 85 graduates received the Dean’s Award, while 74 were also honored with the Academic Prize for their outstanding academic performance. Space UTM also presented Special Prizes to six graduates in the Siblings category, eight graduates in the Husband and Wife category, and three graduates with Disabilities (OKU) in recognition of their exceptional accomplishments.
