November 20, 2024 – The Dean’s Award and SPACE Academic Prize Presentation Ceremony (Second Session) was held in conjunction with the 68th Convocation Ceremony at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. This ceremony was held accomplishments of UTM Diploma graduates (Full-Time and Part-Time Studies), Diploma graduates, and Bachelors of local and international Cooperation Programs. A total of 115 graduates of the Full-Time Diploma Program, 45 graduates of the Cooperation Program, and 6 graduates of the Part-Time Diploma Program of UTM who received excellence awards were honored.
The ceremony officiated by YBrs. Prof. Ts Dr. Nazri Bin Ali, Dean of SPACE, delivered a speech emphasizing the significance of today’s graduates as human capital committed to contributing to national and global development through their knowledge acquired at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
Among the recipients of the main awards, the Vice Chancellor’s Award was presented to Nabila Nadhira Binti Idris, a Technology Management Diploma graduate with a GPA of 3.98. Her exceptional academic achievements were recognized with this prestigious award. SPACE UTM also bestowed Special Prizes upon 10 graduates in the Sibling category and 4 graduates in the Husband and Wife category, acknowledging their outstanding accomplishments. Notably, 10 of these graduates are graduates of the Bachelor of Cooperation Program from Qaiwan International University, Iraq.
